Annual Program Without Frontiers – The Annual Program Without Frontiers proposes a wide exchange of aesthetic and ideas between artists of different cultures, without geographic or political frontiers, but specially without economic or technical frontiers. Ever since the beginning, filmmakers from around the globe worked together for a cinema without censorship nor discrimination, promoting artists from all countries and relating them to the international cinema industry. Atlanta Film Festival – Held annually in April. An Academy Award qualifying festival committed to discovering new filmmakers and representing the myriad of genres independent film covers, from drama to horror and everything in between. Austin Film Festival – ‘The Writers’ Festival’ – for Filmmakers with emphasis on showcasing screenwriters in North America. Held annually in October. Entry deadline: 07/15/2011 Fee: $42-$650.

Beverly Hills Film Festival – is an international competition dedicated to showcasing the art and talent of emerging filmmakers in the city globally recognized as the headquarters for VIPs to the motion picture industry.  Entry deadline: 01/05/2011.

Bodhi International Film Festival – (“BodhiFest” for short) is to celebrate spirituality, nature, and humankind through engaging, creative, and sophisticated content in reference to the concept of SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT.  The path to spiritual enlightenment can take many forms, as many forms as there are minds to perceive said concept, which allows for variety of content. Entry deadline: 02/15/2011 Film submission amount: $25+.

Boomtown Film And Music Festival – This February 2011 enjoy fiercely independent filmmakers and cutting-edge musicians will meet in Southeast Texas for a unique celebration of movie screenings, live music performances, special guest appearances and nightly parties. The festival takes place in Beaumont, Texas. Entry deadline: 01/01/2011 Fee: $15.

Broadway International Film Festival | Los Angeles – To demonstrate the richness and uniqueness of the International diversity in the art of Filmmaking with a focus/appeal on the Hispanic/Latino involvement. May 27, 2011.

Brooklyn Film Festival - The Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF), is an International, competitive festival. BFF mission is to provide a public forum in Brooklyn in order to advance public interest in films and the independent production of films. March 16th, 2011 – Final Deadline – entry Fee $60.

Chicago International Children’s Film Festival - Largest fest of films for kids & youth in North America programming over 200 films from 40 countries annually. Held annually in late October for 10 days. Final deadline is May 31, 2011. Before May 1 & save 20%.

Chicago International Film Festival – is an annual film festival held every fall. Founded in 1964, it is the longest-running competitive film festival in North America. Regular entries must be postmarked by June 24, 2011. Late entries will be accepted until July 11, 2011. Regular Deadline (Feature Film) : $100.00 Late Entry Fee : (Feature Film) : $200.00

Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival – is an annual short film competition and screening put on by Project Chicago. The festival was founded by Scott Rudolph and Nels Dahlquist. Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) -  Tower City Cinemas at Tower City Center in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. For the past 35 years, the CIFF has been the premier film event in Ohio. Today the CIFF presents a full survey of contemporary international and American Independent filmmaking, with 140 features and 170 short subjects from 60 countries. March 24 – April 3, 2011.

A.D.D. Short Film Festival
The A.D.D. Short Film Festival will be taking place in Cleveland on Saturday May 7th at a rock ‘n’ roll bar called Now That’s Class (located at Detroit Avenue & W.114th). It’s a little DIY film fest celebrating microcinema that will feature low-budget / no-budget, amateur, underground, & student works. The ADD Fest is now accepting submissions! There is no entry fee and you can submit as many films as you want. All submissions should be under thirty minutes in length and should be sent on DVD to: 761 E. 254th Street; Euclid, OH 44132 along with contact information and a brief description of the film (100 words or less).
